St Albans Market
St Albans Market
Some of the stalls of St Albans Market along St Peter's Street, viewed from the Clock Tower. The market, instituted by Royal Charter in 1553, trades on Wednesdays and Saturdays and is one of the largest street markets in southern England.

Blue and yellow, as used for the stall covers, are the municipal colours of St Albans.
