The Albert And The Lion
A former Woolworth's building on the corner of Adelaide Street West. It was designed by B C Donaldson and opened in 1937. It is built on the site of the former Woolworth's Bazaar and the Royal Hotel. It was Pricebusters before being refurbished by Wetherspoon and opened on 2nd July 2010 as The Albert And The Lion freehouse.
