The Wey Navigation below Trigg's Lock (3) - with alders
This stretch of the Navigation is not embanked and appears fairly natural, but an old meander (to the west, behind the alders) shows that the original course of the river wasn't nearly as straight.
Much the same view as Link but taken a week later, on an evening when there was little wind, allowing for much clearer reflections. As late as April 23rd there is little green on the trees - following the prolonged winter of 2013.
