Antenna-equipped cairn on Bràigh Bhlàich
Well, I suspect it is part of an old fence, turned upside down to make it look as though the cairn has a technophile desire for mobile phone or GPS reception... It certainly does nothing for the wilderness atmosphere as the east-north-east ridge of Stob Coire a'Chearcaill reaches almost two thousand feet and narrows down. The rocky heart of the mountain is nearer the surface and the ground firmer and drier underfoot on Bràigh Bhlàich for a splendid romp towards the summit of this little-frequented Corbett.
