East Budleigh is a small village, two miles north of Budleigh Salterton in East Devon. Its most famous inhabitant is Sir Walter Raleigh who was born nearby.
The village was a market town and port until the nearby River Otter silted up in the 15th century.
The village has a church, school, shop and pub.
