A large stone house with a Tuscan loggia, rusticated quoins, and a (too) shallow three-bay pediment. It dates from c1815 when it was largely rebuilt or remodelled by Samuel Shore (jr). Grade II* listed.
It served as a hospital for most of the post-war period, but was converted into flats in the 1990s.
