Steam 150
'Palmerston' hauls the gravity train through Penrhyn. It was nearly three hours later when it trundled back down the line, replicating an operation typical of the period when slate traffic was booming on the Ffestiniog Railway; loaded slate trains descending by gravity, empty slate wagons being hauled back up the line by a steam locomotive.
