Former St.Nicholas Church, Exeter
Former St.Nicholas Church, Exeter
This former Roman Catholic church was built 1790-92 of Heavitree sandstone. It has now been converted into flats. For a description of the building in the 1850s, see LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) . The building to the left, no 21, The Mint, was the refectory for St Nicholas Priory (which is directly behind the camera) and has been the subject of much restoration over the last decade. In the foreground is a herb garden.
