St. Molua's Church, Main Street, Ardagh, Co. Limerick
Located on the R523 road, which runs through the village, this Catholic church was built in 1814, with donations from both local Catholic and Protestant families. The previous church had been destroyed in the insurrection (also known as the Irish Rebellion) of 1641. The present church was renovated in the 20th century. It is named after St. Molua, the patron saint of Ardagh. He died in the early seventh century.
