'This memorial marks the site of the former Flookburgh churches dedicated to St John the Baptist. The last church built AD 1777 was taken down when the new church was built AD 1900' SD3676 : The Parish Church of St John the Baptist, Flookburgh. This stone can be seen here SD3675 : Village Square
