This structure at the Honister Slate Mine is, not surprisingly, made of slate. It is not exactly easy to photograph because of assorted non-slate containers of rather tired-looking plants perched on it, but fortunately there is just one spot from which the containers are hidden from view. In the background is Grey Knotts.
