Wheatley windmill - fantail
This windmill must be one of the very few, possibly the only one, to allow visitors access to the fantail platform. This is very secure with a solid rail, unlike many that are just open frames supporting the fantail. The gear drive to turn the mill into the wind is also visible. The actual fan has been roped down to prevent anybody being struck by it.
