The Bridges of Newcastle
The Bridges of Newcastle
Seven bridges span the River Tyne within less than a mile. Here we see the Queen Elizabeth II (Metro) Bridge, the King Edward (railway) Bridge, and (partly obscured) the concrete New Redheugh road bridge, carrying the A189.
This view was taken while walking the Hadrian's Wall Path.
