Major peaks of Lake District reflected on Wast Water, 1987
In spite of all the countless wonderful Lake District pictures already on the Geograph site, I could not resist adding mine of 'The Most Famous View in England' (cf. NY1505 : The most famous view in England. The view is NE halfway along the north side of Wast Water, to (left-to-right) Yewbarrow (2,058 ft.), Kirk Fell (2,631 ft.), Great Gable (2,949 ft.) and Lingmell (2,104 ft.); also my son, Edmund (6 ft.)!
