Oil-shale bings at Tarbrax
Oil-shale bings at Tarbrax
The remains of the oil shale industry in South Lanarkshire/West Lothian. Tarbrax is a 'dead-end' village - only one road in, and the same one out. It is a community that owes its existence originally to the oil-shale mining industry.
