Statue(s) on The Green, West Auckland
The Green in West Auckland is split by the A68 crossing it; on the smaller eastern section of The Green, (there's separately an East green too), this footballing statue has been erected commemorating the unlikely event of the urban village of West Auckland winning the World Football Cup in both 1909 and 1911.
