Charney water mill
Charney water mill
1807 built three storey water mill with an undershot wheel driving two sets of stones, a wire machine and the sack hoist. This is the tail race side and the wheel is in the extension to the left. The mill was open for National Mills Weekend and was our fourth mill of the day with two to go - an ambitious programme that we successfully completed.
