The Repaired Newbiggin Bridge
The Repaired Newbiggin Bridge
Well.... True to their word, the powers that be have rebuilt the bridge just two years after the floods that destroyed it. It was a complete re-build and a narrower steel based bridge is now in place. Some of the original stone was used in the new bridge. All in all I think that they have done a good job and deserve our congratulations.
