The river Ebbw flows along the line of trees, in the left of the picture, which is the northern boundary of the park.
Extensive work is being undertaken to improve the flood defences.
The previous bund Link is being replaced with one further into the park. This means that the sports pitches at the park must be realigned, but plans have been made that will increase the number of pitches from the existing 12 to 15.
