Not a huge difference compared with six months ago but the weather has been fairly mild of late and this does seem to have the biggest influence on the rate of erosion here. One notable absence on this picture from the last one we took is that the bungalow that was the main focus in all our pictures from the last couple of years has now gone, only the outhouse remains. A lot of the owners from round here have faced a similar and awful decision-either move out of your property of your own accord, before you are ordered to vacate and the council demolish it and send you the bill for its demolition and clearance, or you do it yourself and cut your losses (not a nice choice either way) but a fact of life for people who live here, where time of ownership is a lottery and has been rather less than many had been led to expect.
