Pink Floyd at Knebworth - 1975
Pink Floyd were the headline act at the second annual one day music festival held in the parkland of Knebworth House. It was reported as being the largest ever crowd for an outdoor concert at the time. The stage was a very primitive structure of building scaffold and green tarpaulins. The following year the event featuring The Rolling Stones had a far superior stage, see Link. Cost of ticket for the day was 2.75, you can't even buy a Coke at concerts for that price now!
