SU8003 : Tidal causeway and bridge

taken 11 years ago, near to Bosham, West Sussex, England

Tidal causeway and bridge
Tidal causeway and bridge
This causeway and the bridge over the SU8003 : Stream revealed at low tide are entirely inundated for hours either side of high tide. At low tide such as this, the causeway provides a useful shortcut between Bosham village and the southern section of Shore Road. This view is looking towards the latter.
Compare with SU8003 : Bosham - flooded causeway at much higher tide.
