NT4728 : Flodden window detail, Town Hall

Flodden window detail, Town Hall
Flodden window detail, Town Hall
One part of a Victorian window recalling the Battle of Flodden in 1513. I assume it commemorates the townsmen of Selkirk who died in the battle. It is positioned facing inwards above the steps inside the main entrance to the Town Hall, so it would be viewed by anyone leaving the building.
