This former mill at Felin Faesog was typical of the local grain mills of Caernarfonshire in that they were water powered. Those in Anglesey on the other hand were mainly wind powered. The Tai'n Lon hamlet also had a woollen mill which,in the 1890s, employed more than a score of workers.
