Looking east from Castle Farm, Capel-y-ffin
The track visible at the bottom is the drive that leads to Castle Farm, once a youth hostel, and now slightly more comfortable holiday accommodation.

Offa's Dyke Path runs along the top of the ridge opposite, which here forms the boundary between England and Wales.

The valley, known as the Vale of Ewyas, was formed by the Afon Honddu.
