Looking down the hill into Shanklin Old Village.

Shanklin Old Village is a small part of Shanklin itself containing some of its oldest dwellings, the majority of them thatched. It is famous for its small gift shops and tea rooms.

On the right is the Village Inn, whilst on the left is Pencil Cottage, a gift shop and the pink building is The Old Thatch Tearooms.
