The Sneyd Arms
The Sneyd Arms
The Sneyd Arms pub stands at the junction of Milton Road and B5049 Hanley Road. The Sneyd Arms motif of a fleur-de-lys and scythe is allegedly derived from Edward III's praise of one of the original Sneyd family at the battle of Poitiers where he 'scythed down the French'.
