View eastward, towards Selby and Hull: ex-NER Leeds - Selby - Hull main line. The station was closed to passengers 14/9/59, to goods 7/9/64. Since 1983 the ECML Selby Deviation line has passed just to the west (behind the camera), throwing off south-to-west and north-to east connecting loops.
