Captain's Walk is this path alongside part of the south side of Brecon town wall.
The Brecon Town Council plaque above the bench shows that Captain Thomas Phillips of Havard House Brecon first made this Captain's Walk. He was author of "A Journal of a Voyage made in the Hannibal 1693-94 to Africa and Barbadoes".
