Seen from near Colbost Jetty in low evening light with a double rainbow reflected in the waters of Loch Dunvegan.
The OS Name Book of 1876-78 states: This name is applied to a small low water rock situated in Loch Dunvegan near the shore at Colbost. The name signifies "Rock of the Brushwood". Information from Mr D. McDonald, Merchant, Skinidin.
The house is Tobar Eņin, and can be seen in more detail in NG2149 : Eilean Dubh Beag]. The wind turbines on the far horizon belong to the Ben Aketil wind farm in NG3247 and lie about 12km ESE.
