Llandudno Junction: start of 6G Road
Llandudno Junction: start of 6G Road
This road is part of the A546, a little spur road linking the original local road network with the main A55 expressway. The nearby Tesco superstore actually has 6G Road as its postal address; it is named as such on the current A-Z atlas but is unnamed on my older edition.

The road is named after Llandudno Junction Steam Locomotive and Carriage Shed 6G, part of the sidings on whose site the road and buildings such as Tesco have been built. There is more on that here: LinkExternal link

Note the bilingual street sign, denoting 'Ffordd 6G' in Welsh and '6G Road' in English.
