SU4556 : An elusive square

taken 17 years ago, near to Old Burghclere, Hampshire, England

An elusive square
An elusive square
Photograph shows most of the features of SU4556 without being able to get into the square. The ridge on the horizon descends from Beacon Hill fort, the highest point on the left, and forms the eastern boundary of the square. The line of woodland in the left middle distance runs into the northern part of the square. In the central middle distance are the farm buildings at 453565, whilst the building closer to the camera is just outside the western boundary of the square. It appears to be mainly farmland.
