Cable Car Across The Thames
The Emirates Air Line (also known as the Thames cable car) is a cable car link across the River Thames in London built by Doppelmayr with sponsorship from the airline Emirates. Running between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks, Emirates Air Line provides easy access to the O2 Arena and Excel London. The terminals are also close to the Tube, DLR, buses and river boat services (LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) Transport for London).

The service opened on 28 June 2012 and is operated by Transport for London.
