TQ2883 : London Zoo - The Casson Pavilion

taken 11 years ago, near to Camden Town, Camden, England

London Zoo - The Casson Pavilion
London Zoo - The Casson Pavilion
Built 1965 and designed by Sir Hugh Casson, Neville Conder and Partners. Originally home to the elephants and rhinos this magnificent building is now home to tapirs and bearded pigs. It was built to look like elephants around a watering home - fanciful or what?
