SD1691 : Heading west from Plough Fell

taken 13 years ago, 4 km WSW of Ulpha, Cumbria, England

Heading west from Plough Fell
Heading west from Plough Fell
Heading west over the featureless top of Plough Fell across a depression of tussocky moorland. The rocky crest of Buck Barrow with its array of tors and crags beckons like a (very) diminutive Cuillin ridge. We had our sole encounter with another hillwalker on the northern slope. Crowded Bank Holiday Lakeland!
