Grade II* listed

The church dates from the 13th century with a 15th century tower.
By 1386 it was large enough to accommodate four altars in addition to the high altar.
The roof of the chancel was raised before 1698, probably to accommodate the monument to Sir Richard Grobham mentioned later.
It was restored in 1863 by Wyatt.

There is a west tower, nave with aisles, chancel, south porch and vestry. The nave has clerestory windows, the east end of the chancel has 3 13th century lancets. The north-east vestry was rebuilt and early 20th century, the porch is 19th-century.
The tower is of three stages, with gargoyles at the top corners and moulded battlements with crocketted corner pinnacles. There is a rainwater head with the date 1994. There are six bells.

The nave is largely 19th-century with corbels of carved Angels and an arch-braced roof. It has three Bay arcades with cylindrical piers and pointed arches. The chancel arch is 19th-century with Purbeck marble shafts. Much of the chancel is original, but the nave and aisles were completely reconstructed. There is a sundial on the exterior east wall, possibly from the early 18th century.

There is a monument on the north wall to Sir Richard Grobham, died 1629 and his wife Margaret (née Whitmore).
Sir Richard was Lord of the manor and lived to be 78 years old. He was steward to Sir Thomas Gorges SU1429 : Sir Thomas and Lady Gorges effigies, Salisbury Cathedral The monument was restored in 1804.

In the north aisle there is a recess with a recumbent knight, probably Nicolas de Bonham, died 1386, and his wife Edith. Their son was rector in the late 14th C.

The font is 12th century with zigzag and scalloped ornaments.
The church also contains an early 18th-century fire engine.

On the north-east corner of the churchyard wall are the Bread stones. These show the cost of a gallon of bread (the gallon meaning the dry volume of the ingredients). Although the stones have been replaced, as they were very worn, the oldest dated back to 1800.
