This small museum of the peat industry has in recent years added a flourishing tearoom LinkExternal link Catering for birdwatchers, cyclists and others, it is one of several in the area around the three National Nature Reserves.
It is run by the family of Ray Sweet, who discovered the Sweet Track while cutting peat in 1970. The Sweet Track was laid out across the marshland in 3807 BC and is one of Europe's oldest roadways.
