This is Bar Lock footbridge that carries pedestrians across the Worcester & Birmingham Canal to the "Worcester Bar". The bridge is a replica, built in the 1980s to the original Horseley Ironworks design, as are many of the other footbridges in Birmingham. The skyscraper is the Regency Hyatt Hotel that was built in 1989/90. It 75 metres tall (246ft) and boasts 24 floors.
