Detail of the entrance of Waddesdon Manor. The manor was built for Baron Ferdinand De Rothschild between 1874 and 1889. Built in the style of a French Chateau, a real treasure house of artworks and French furniture and porcelain. This National Trust property is one that can be visited again and again. The house was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1957.
