The 500th Anniversary Of The Battle Of Flodden

500th anniversary commemorations were held on Monday 9 September, 2013 at Flodden Field and at other sites connected with the battle.

This collection of images was taken around the battlefield between approximately 1800 and 2000 hrs, during which time there was a commemoration service at the memorial by the Flodden 1513 Club with readings and toasts, attended by both members of the Club and the general public. In addition, outside broadcasts were made from the site by the BBC, STV and ITV Border.

Further information on the Battle Of Flodden can be found at the extensive Flodden 1513 website: LinkExternal link
