Royal Doulton Nursery Rhyme Series

Havantís War Memorial Hospital opened in 1929 and closed in 2011. The childrenís ward opened during George Vís silver jubilee celebrations and contained these magnificent tiles. Designed by William Rowe each depicts a well-known scene from a traditional song or chant.
They are now preserved for posterity at the Spring Arts Centre
