NY9923 : Eggleston Church (former)

I doubt if the described scenario has any validity; indeed I do not think the chapel was included in Eggleston Hall gardens prior to the Grays buying-in in the early 20th century. More likely it became too small for purpose and was replaced by the building in 1869 of Holy Trinity Church in the village.
