Gently sloping moorland
Gently sloping moorland
East of the rounded ridge which forms the spine of the Waternish Peninsula, the moorland slopes gently to Loch Snizort. The lower slopes are mostly forested. The land is not grazed by sheep or cattle, but wild red deer roam here.
