Bearsden railway station

The station was opened in 1863 by the Glasgow and Milngavie Junction Railway Company. It is one of the two original stations on the line, the other being the terminus at Milngavie. The station building is now a restaurant.

The line was electrified in 1959. There are regular direct services to Edinburgh, Motherwell and Lanark, used mostly by commuters.
