When geographing in this part of Ireland, it's good to come across a real view - when so much is just lanes and green fields, however pleasant. Leaving the little town of Bruff (An Brú), the roads cross An Chamhaoir, which in English is the Morningstar River, and very lovely it is too. There is a pretty little park on the north bank of the river.
