NG2405 : Tarbert Bay, Canna

taken 6 years ago, near to A' Chill, Highland, Great Britain

Tarbert Bay, Canna
Tarbert Bay, Canna
This is a very atmospheric but rarely used anchorage that gives shelter in northerlies. The bottom is sand and we found the holding to be good. The bay is exposed to the south and some swell might be expected.

The basalt rock formations are interesting.
