taken 10 years ago, near to Ashford Bowdler, Shropshire, England

St Andrew, Ashford Bowdler
St Andrew, Ashford Bowdler
Charming little church by the Teme, which has survived a fall into the river. In 1906 the chancel fell into the river, which rages here when in flood. A huge retaining wall, recently upgraded, was installed to prevent a recurrence. A shortened chancel was reinstated. The South side.
