Getting off the train at Lakeside
Getting off the train at Lakeside
Lakeside, at the southern edge of Lake Windermere, is the northern terminus of the heritage Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. It's a short walk from the train to Lakeside Pier, for those who wish to board one of the boat services cruising Lake Windermere to Bowness or Ambleside, or visit the nearby Lakes Aquarium. Link
