The War Memorial in the form of a Celtic cross on a plinth is located
on the corner of Church Lane and Church Town, opposite St Andrew's Church.
A plaque on the plinth records that the Cross was originally erected and stood for many years in the grounds of Backwell Hill House. After removal for restoration, it was installed here and rededicated on Easter Sunday, March 30th 1997.
