St Mary's church, Puddletown - the Athelhampton Chantry restoration - finale (8)
This is the best preserved of all the monuments here, located between the chantry and the nave. Thought at one time to depict the effigy of Sir William Martyn (1504) who built nearby Athelhampton Hall, it is now thought more likely to be that of Thomas Martyn (1485).
